Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus vs. Huawei P30 Pro in the speed test: A clear winner

There are always various benchmarks and comparisons between current flagships. Now it was Galaxy S10+ vs Huawei P30 Pro - both smartphones competed against each other in a speed test. There is a winner.
Benchmarks are not that meaningful - many people already know that. For this reason, there are numerous videos on YouTube that test current smartphones under everyday conditions. For example, the YouTuber leaves PhoneBuff Open various apps one after the other on the smartphone using the robot arm. In doing so, it measures the respective loading times of the app. The test runs for two rounds, with the apps being opened for the first time in the first round. In the second round, he loads the apps from the main memory - so it usually runs faster.
Galaxy S10+ vs. Huawei P30 Pro: Samsung wins the speed test
Both the Galaxy S10+, at least in the US version, and the Huawei P30 Pro have processors built into them using the 7nm process. Both also have 8 GB of RAM and internal UFS 2.1 storage. Specifically, the Samsung flagship (at least in the US, where this speed test comes from) has the Snapdragon 855 and the Huawei P30 Pro has the Kirin 980. Since both smartphones in general and both processors are fairly new, the conditions for the test are pretty fair.
Ultimately, the Galaxy S10+ beats its competitor from China. The Galaxy S10+ completes both laps review in 2:32 minutes, while the Huawei P30 Pro takes seven seconds longer and reaches the "finish" after 2:39 minutes. In PhoneBuff's list, the Galaxy S10+ (at least with Snapdragon 855) comes first, followed by the iPhone XS Max and the Huawei P30 Pro in fourth place. The Galaxy S10 with Exynos 9820 ranks fifth behind the Huawei flagship.
An exciting test, especially because the Samsung interface - known as the “Experience UI” - is often referred to as “cluttered” and slow. But here it was clearly shown that one has worked on the mistakes of the past.
