The rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S21 are mounting nach and nach. A new leak now claims that Bixby could be introduced as another unlocking method.

As is well known, Samsung offers several ways of unlocking your smartphone. The best known is probably the fingerprint sensor, followed by the classic PIN code, a pattern and the password. New rumors now claim that the Samsung Galaxy S21 could add a new option.

Samsung Galaxy S21: Unlock with Bixby

The new method is voice recognition using Bixby. The voice assistant has been able to do this in the past, but Samsung removed this functionality again. This should probably be reintroduced with One UI 3.1 on the Galaxy S21, as there is no evidence of this in the beta for version 3.0. That would also fit in with the fact that the last Samsung smartphones came onto the market with version 2.1 and 1.1 of One UI. Tests in everyday life will have to show how certain it really is to recognize the voice. After all, it is easy to hold a recording of a voice on a smartphone.
