The rumor mill about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 is currently seething and there are new rumors almost every day. Now the first specific details about the release date have emerged.
As we here already reported a few weeks ago, the new smartphones should be presented earlier than ever before. This has now been confirmed by the well-known and relatively serious leaker Jon Prosser. he named on twitter first details about the presentation and market launch of the Galaxy S21 series. The source has proven to be quite trustworthy in the past, which means that there are real leaks. Even so, nothing has been officially confirmed by Samsung yet. We have now summarized all the new information.
According to the ProThe devices are to be presented on January 14th and can already be pre-ordered on this day. About 2 weeks later, on January 29, the market launch should take place. That would be much earlier than in previous years.
There is also information about the colors. The small and cheapest S21 should be available in gray, pink, purple and white. The better and more expensive models, the S21 + and S21 Ultra, should be available in black and silver, although the Ultra will probably also appear in purple. With the Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra 20 the South Korean manufacturer introduced matt glass on the back of their smartphones for the first time. It is still unclear whether Samsung will also use matt glass in the upcoming S models.
