Besides Google now also Apple announced a competition. It's not about sports, it's about taking photos with the iPhone. The company appropriately names the competition “Shot On iPhone”.

The announcement was published by Apple the day before yesterday in our own newsroom. All iPhone users are encouraged to submit their best iPhone snaps between January 22nd and February 8th. You can do this via Instagram or Twitter or via Email. If you decide to publish on one of the social networks, it is important not to forget the hashtag #shotoniphone, a link to the Apple account and information about the model. If you send an email with the photo, please note that the file must be named according to the scheme “First name_Surname_iPhone-Model”.

The best ten recordings will be published

On February 8th, when the contest ends, a jury, including Phil Schiller, will select ten winning photos. These can then be seen in various Apple stores, online and on posters. But why is Apple holding such a competition? In my opinion, the company from Cupertino wants to promote the cameras of the current iPhones to the public. The first paragraph says something about the "most popular camera in the world". If you are interested, you can find all the details on how to participate in the Apple article linked above.
