Snapchat Custom Stories: It is now possible to create stories together with friends

Snapchat is regularly developing its Stories feature. With today's update it is possible to post in a story together with your friends. From now on you can also create a story on a specific topic.
The Californian company is having a blast on its recent birthday. An update was only recently released, which replaced the core function of Snapchat. This makes it possible to make images and videos visible for an unlimited period of time. So it is probably no longer the motto to offer a platform for self-destructive media.
It is now possible to create groups in stories
In addition to the augmented reality filters published a few weeks ago, Snapchat is bringing another feature with this day. With this, several people can post in a story - also called "Snapchat Custom Stories". This is certainly interesting for a vacation with several people. Everything that is posted there is automatically deleted after 24 hours. The creator of this group story can also determine who can see the content posted there. You can also determine who is allowed to contribute these new pictures and videos.

This is how it works: To create a common story, you take a picture as usual. In the menu you can now find the new button "Create new" above the stories. Here you define a name and select the persons authorized to post. There is also an interesting feature called "Geofence". If this is active in the story, people in the vicinity can contribute it with media. The so-called "Custom Story" disappears as soon as the creator deletes it or no more photos and videos are posted in it for 24 hours.
This function should be available immediately for all users of Android and iOS devices. But it will probably take a while before all users receive the update.
