Sony Xperia 1 II, Xperia 10 II and Xperia L4 presented

Despite the canceled MWC 2020, manufacturers are presenting their devices today - including Sony. They presented the Xperia 1 II, Xperia 10 II and the Xperia L4 on Monday morning.

The successors to the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 have just been introduced. In this case, the Xperia 1 II is the flagship, the Xperia 10 II is the mid-range device and the Xperia L4 is the entry-level model. In this article, we'll take a closer look at all three devices.

All three smartphones come with a 21: 9 display, including that Xperia 1 II. The OLED display is 6,5 inches and has a resolution of 4K. The display of HDR content is also supported. On the back there is a triple camera with focal lengths of 16 mm super wide angle, 24 mm wide angle and 70 mm telephoto, each with 12 megapixel resolution. With a 3D depth sensor, the camera should also be able to better recognize structures, distances and movements of objects. Videos can be recorded in 4K.

Inside is the Snapdragon 865, together with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The internal memory can also be expanded using a microSD slot. The battery has a capacity of 4.000 mAh, which can also be charged wirelessly.

As extras there is also 5G support, protection against water and dust according to IP65 / 68 and special "360 Reality Audio" speakers. Android 10 is used as the operating system - Sony usually uses the stock version. You stay true to the position of the fingerprint sensor: it sits back in the power button.

The Sony Xperia 1 II will appear in the second quarter of 2020 in the colors black and purple for 1.199 euros (RRP).

Let's take a look at the mid-range Sony device Xperia 10 II on. This comes with a 6 inch OLED display, also in 21: 9 format. In addition, this dissolves in Full HD +. A combo of three lenses (12MP + 8MP + 8MP) is also used here as a camera. These also support 4K video.

It should also be mentioned that there is also an IP65 / 68 certification for protection against dust and water and the fingerprint sensor is located on the power button. The Xperia 10 II will be available in black and white from the second quarter. The RRP is set at 369 euros.

The battery has a capacity of 3.580 mAh, and there is also a 3,5 mm jack socket here. As with the other three smartphones, there is a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

The Xperia L4 will appear in the second quarter in the colors black and blue for 199 euros (RRP).
