Spotify introduces separate buttons for play and shuffle

Spotify rebuilt the playlist and album view UI. From now on there are separate buttons for play and shuffle.

But what is the current status? Currently there is a play button for each album and for each playlist. With a playlist, however, the shuffle mode is started, with albums all titles are played in sequence. For example, if you wanted to play the songs in a playlist one after the other with a tap, that was not possible.

That's why there are now two buttons on the user interface for playlists and albums, one for regular playback and one for activating shuffle. Spotify has been rolling out this change for iOS and Android since August 1st. So it may be a while before this innovation is visible across the board.
