WWDC 2018 in San Jose, California
This week, on Monday to be precise, Apple's WWDC developer conference took place in San Jose, California. All sorts of new things around Apple's large software platforms were presented there.
iOS 12
iOS 12, the new generation of mobile OS, will be compatible with the same devices as iOS 11. As a result, performance has been greatly improved. This is how tasks for the Proprocessor even better distributed.
AR Kit 2 is the successor to AR Kit, which includes the USDZ framework, which allows 3D content to be better linked to websites. Then the new Measure app was introduced, with which you can measure things.
In the Photos app, photos that might be relevant at the moment are now displayed in the “For You” tab. There is also a new intelligent search function and suggestions for sharing photos with certain people.
Shortcuts have now been introduced for Siri that allow you to create your own and individual routines for the voice assistant.
New animojis and memojis have been introduced in the messenger app. Memojis are similar to Snapchats Bitmojis, which you can animate using the sensors in the iPhone X's notch.
Then some of Apple's own apps and the “do not disturb” mode have been revised.
Watch 5
WatchOS 5 continues to focus on sports. Therefore, a seven-day activity competition has now been introduced in which Apple Watch users can match each other. In addition, there is now the possibility that the watch will now automatically recognize when you start a workout. Step frequency tracking and a speed alarm have now been integrated for runners. There are also new dials to match the Pride bracelets for the Apple Watch.
macOS 10.14 Mojave
Probably the most striking innovation in macOS 10.14 Mojave is the new dark mode. When activated, this is applied across the entire system. In addition to this innovation, time was invested in the revision of the desktop. There are now desktop stacks that can be created based on certain criteria.
The Finder has also been redesigned, which is why there is now a new gallery view with editing tools. In addition, important information about each file is displayed on the page.
TvOS 12
tvOS 12 will now support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. In addition, the operating system received some new screen savers that were recorded from space.

Presentation of the BlackBerry Key2
The BlackBerry Key2 was also introduced this week. It has an aluminum frame and a soft touch back, and is generally thinner and lighter than the BlackBerry KeyOne. The display is 4,5 inches and has a full HD resolution. The keyboard keys are 20% larger, are backlit, the fingerprint sensor is still in the space bar and, as with the KeyOne, each key can be assigned its own app or function.
Inside, the Snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm works with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The battery is 3500mAh. Android 8.1 Oreo is preinstalled with some adjustments on the part of BlackBerry.
The Key2 will appear in June at an RRP of € 649 for the version with 64GB storage.
Moto Z3 Play official
The Moto Z3 Play is the first of the third generation of modular smartphones from Lenovo. The display now has a format of 18: 9 and, at 6 inches, is slightly larger than that of the predecessor. The Snapdragon 636 was installed with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The battery has an average size of 3000mAh.
