The TechnikNews Weekly is back - after all, it's Sunday again. In the next few paragraphs you will find the best from the world of technology from the past week. As always, summarized with your favorite items.

Huawei OS as a replacement for Android

Huawei has been hit pretty hard this week. After US President Donald Trump put the company on a so-called "entity list", American companies are now no longer allowed to maintain business relationships with the company. So did Google, who had to withdraw the official Android license from Huawei. That means: no more normal Android, just the open source version. However, that could not bother Huawei, because there are rumors about its own Huawei OS. This should run on smartphones, tablets and some other devices and be compatible with Android apps. However, it will probably take some time before the operating system is ready.

Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite presented

Despite the Huawei debacle, the subsidiary Honor presented three new smartphones. The Honor 20, the Honor 20 Pro and the Honor 20 Lite. While the first two devices have similar specs to the P30 and P30 Pro from Huawei, the Lite is in the middle class. Honor invested a lot of time in the cameras. All three newcomers have a quad camera, only the resolutions differ from model to model. Exact details and numbers are in the article.

OnePlus 7 Pro with "phantom" inputs

The OnePlus 7 Pro is selling pretty well so far. However, some users are experiencing a bug where the inputs are "phantom". This means the processing of non-actuated touch inputs. For those affected, this mainly occurs in the Chrome and CPU-Z apps. What caused the bug is currently unknown. Probably a software error that OnePlus without Proproblem can be fixed with an update.

MacBook Pro Introduced in 2019

Without causing a stir, Apple introduced new MacBook Pros for 2019. The display diagonals are still 13 inches and 15 inches and otherwise nothing has changed optically. We have new ones for that Proprocessors, namely those of the eighth and ninth generation from Intel with up to eight computing cores. This improves performance by up to 50 Procent. You can read in the article what else the notebooks can do and how much they cost.

Honor 20 Pro without Android certification

Losing Android license is not the only thing Problem from Huawei and Honor. Honor passed the 20th Pro Unfortunately, after being put on the "Entity List" for Android certification, it no longer received it. It is not known exactly what the consequences of this will be. It is clear that the smartphone cannot be bought for the time being. It's also unclear if that will ever happen.
