Autumn is approaching and it's slowly getting colder again. It won't be long before we will have made it through the current year again. But first we want the TechnikNews Weekly look back once more on the past week.

iOS 13 and Apple Arcade available now

Apple showed iOS 2019 at WWDC 13, Apple Arcade saw the light even earlier. The latter is a subscription that costs around 4,99 euros pro monthly access to several exclusive games. iOS 13 is the company's latest software for mobile devices, which comes with a dark mode and a new reminders app, among other things. Both innovations are now available for all iPhones from the 6S and the SE.

This is what the OnePlus 7T looks like

OnePlus actually wanted the new 7T and 7T Pro only present on October 10th. But apparently the manufacturer could no longer keep it tight and officially shared the design of the smartphones in its own community forum. The main thing that changed was the camera layout, which is now circular. Otherwise, the 90 Hertz display is included again. We will find out more on October 10 at 17 p.m.

Pocket Casts now for free

Some of you are probably familiar with the Pocket Casts app. So far, the developers have asked for money for their work - that was around 2 euros for the Android and iOS app and around 9 euros for the desktop and web app. The version for the mobile platforms is now free. You can access the web version via Pocket Casts Plus, which is free for three years for buyers of the app.

Huawei Watch GT 2 presented

Huawei showed the Watch GT 2 alongside the new Mate 30 series. The watch comes in two versions, with a 42mm and 46mm case and has a battery life of up to two weeks. The smartwatch has to do without Wear OS, but has Huawei's own smartwatch OS. Of the Proprocessor is the new Kirin A1. The new watch will be available from mid-October at a starting price of 199 euros.

Xperia 5 with free in-ear headphones

Sony unveiled the Sony Xperia 2019 at IFA 5 in Berlin. Now the manufacturer is starting an interesting campaign. When you buy your smartphone, you get the WF-1000XM3 in-ear headphones with ANC free of charge. This saves you a whole 249 euros.
