OnePlus officially confirmed today that the OnePlus 8 will come with wireless charging. Thanks to the "Warp Charge" technology, this should also be quite fast. So far, the manufacturer has not yet supported wireless charging with any of its predecessors.

I just had in my review about the OnePlus 7T Pro mentions that wireless charging would be a nice touch. The wish has now been heard: im OnePlus Forum and via Twitter the feature has now been announced in the successor.

OnePlus 8: Wireless to 30 with "Warp Charge 50 Wireless". Procent in 30 minutes

In 30 minutes, the smartphone should be charged wirelessly to 50 Procent can be charged. As the name suggests, the wireless charger will support a maximum output of 30 watts. All other QI chargers usually only support up to 5W. The forum also confirms that these other QI chargers are also supported. If you have a charging pad with the "10W EPP" standard, you will also benefit from 10W charging power with your OnePlus 8 procan fit.

Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether wireless charging is only for the OnePlus 8 Pro will remain reserved. One could assume, however, that it might just be that Pro-Model with "Warp Charge Wireless 30" can be charged quickly and the standard model only charges at a slow speed.

No details have been given about the price either. However, the wireless charger will be officially presented together with the OnePlus 8 series on April 14th. The livestream will be on the OnePlus website to see.
