Wear OS: Support for third-party tiles discovered

Some time ago Wear OS got the area for "tiles". So far, however, only Google has been able to provide this. This could change soon.

A little over a year ago, Google introduced Tiles in Wear OS. These are small widgets that can display the current weather, for example. Very practical, one would think. Unfortunately, until now it was only up to Google to implement the so-called "tiles". In the future, however, third-party providers could also get involved.

Code has now appeared in the Android Open Source Project that points to a "Wear Tiles API". To be more specific, this is an interface for developers to create their own "tiles". This could mean that in the future you will not only get information from Google apps in these widgets, but you will also be able to see your to-do entries. However, it is not yet known when the interface will be released. The code is currently still being slightly modified and viewed.
