iOS 13
iOS 12 should actually get a number of new features that should drastically improve the user experience. In the end, we didn't see these new features; instead, Apple focused on improving performance. There was a particular focus on improving the performance of older iPhones. According to Gurman, there will again be improvements in performance this year. For this purpose, Apple is to introduce new animations when starting multitasking and when closing apps.
Dark mode - it will come. The report shows that it is hidden in the control center and that the user interface is colored black and gray. This will reduce battery consumption, especially on iPhones with OLED displays, as black pixels are simply deactivated with this display technology.
Apple is said to have also redesigned some system apps this time. These apps include Health, Books, Reminders, iMessage, Maps, and Mail.
These things are likely for iPadPro-Users will be very interested: Apple will install a download manager in Safari to be able to deal with them more easily. The Files app should also enable easier integration with software such as Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive. Improved multitasking and a new home screen are also to come.
macOS 10.15
With macOS 10.15, the focus is on porting iPad apps to macOS. What I mean by that: Developers can make apps for the Apple tablet programming and using your own ProApple's programming kits transfer them to the Mac. Submission to the App Store for iOS and macOS is still required separately.
To set a good example, Apple is porting podcasts and “Find my phone” from the iPad to macOS. A separate app for Apple Music will also come, but this is a separate app specifically for macOS.
Watch 6
With watchOS 6, Apple could bring some new apps to the watch. A calculator, a voice recorder, a book app for audio literature and two health apps. These are called “Dose” for monitoring medication intake and “Cycle” for recording the menstrual cycle. The central point of contact is a new app store, through which applications can be obtained directly.
Most likely there will also be a whole range of new watch faces and add-ons for them.
