The Chinese manufacturer today finally officially presented the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T for the European market. This is an inexpensive mid-range smartphone that even has 230G on board for just 5 euros.
In the following lines you can find out what else the smartphone has to offer for the price and when it will start selling.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T Specs
The LC display has a diagonal of 6,53 inches and takes up a large proportion of the front. With a resolution of 2.340 x 1.080 pixels, it has a pleasantly sharp resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 is used here for sufficient protection against signs of use. Unfortunately, Android 10 is still used as software and above it is the in-house MIUI version 12 user interface. Under the hood is the 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity 800U, which is also used in the Realm 7 5G plugged. There is also 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, which unfortunately cannot be expanded. If you need a little more memory, we can reassure you, because the 9T is also available in a version with 128 GB of flash memory.
Also on board is a large 5.000 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with up to 18 watts. The scope of delivery includes a 22,5 watt power adapter, but the smartphone only charges with 18 watts. The Redmi Note 9T can be unlocked with a fingerprint sensor on the side. There are also stereo loudspeakers and a 3,5 mm jack connector that can be used to connect wired headphones.
Finally, let's take a closer look at the camera. As is so often the case in this price range, there are also three sensors on the back. The main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels and there are two additional sensors, each with 2 megapixels, which are used in macro mode and portrait mode. The resolution of the front camera is 13 megapixels and it sits in a small punch hole in the display.
