ZTE Axon 30 Ultra: Pictures and almost all details leaked
The Chinese manufacturer ZTE was definitely one of the most innovative smartphone manufacturers of the last year, because with the ZTE Axon 20 5G you could buy the first smartphone with an invisible front camera under the display. Now the successor, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, is in the starting blocks.
The manufacturer will present the Axon 15 Ultra to the public on April 30th. Now some pictures appeared that show the smartphone from both the front and the back. In addition, almost all technical data are known. As a result, ZTE should concentrate mainly on the cameras, because they should probably install three sensors with 64 megapixels each and a periscope camera.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra: Technical Specifications
The first highlight of the upcoming ZTE Axon 30 Ultra should be the OLED display on the front. It should measure 6,67 inches and support a fluid refresh rate of 144 Hertz. This would surpass the competition from Samsung, OnePlus and OPPO, which offer 120 Hertz. The edges around the panel appear extremely thin, as does the small punch hole in which the front camera can be found. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 will work and the software will be the in-house MyOS user interface in version 11, based on Android 11. Despite the large battery of 4.600 mAh, the smartphone should only be 8 millimeters thick.
Last but not least, let's take a closer look at the cameras on the back, because they are supposed to be the highlight of the Axon 30 Ultra. Like almost all manufacturers, ZTE should also install a quad camera that can be placed in a large, eye-catching rectangle at the top left. The difference to other smartphones is that ZTE is supposed to install a 64 megapixel sensor three times. One is to be used as the main camera, one as an ultra-wide-angle camera and one as a TOF camera. The fourth lens is supposed to be an 8 megapixel periscope camera, with which recordings are to be enlarged 5 times without loss. So similar to the Huawei P40 Pro or Xiaomi mi 11 ultra.
