Huawei Mate 9: Activate Appdrawer - here's how!
Many users who switch to a Huawei device want the typical Appdrawer on Android back. In the following guide, we will show you how you can easily activate it.
Since EMUI 5.0, in combination with Android 7.0, it is possible to activate the Appdrawer. So far, like the iPhone, you could only see the installed apps on the home screen. In this article we will show you how to activate the Appdrawer on the Huawei Mate 9.
Mate 9: activate the app menu - this is how it works!
The Appdrawer can easily be activated in the settings of the smartphone. No external app is required for this. First switch to the settings. Look here for the menu item "Home screen style". Select your preferred setting in this menu. Either “Standard” to display all apps on the start screen. Or select "Drawer" to display all apps in one menu. Now go back to the start screen - here you should, depending on the setting, find the typical button for the Appdrawer.
These instructions do not work with all Huawei smartphones. But it should definitely work with the Huawei Mate 9 and devices with EMUI 5.0.
