From level 5, Pokémon GO really starts and you have the opportunity to choose a team. But: what can you do if you have chosen the wrong team? Can you change it again afterwards and, if so, how does it work?
Post from July 16.07: If you have collected 5000 experience points, you can visit arenas and take them together with friends. The color in which the arena lights up is currently owned. If it is just gray, it means that it has not yet been captured by any team. Then you can put your team's Pokémon in the arena as a defense. If you have occupied this arena for 20 hours, you will get the opportunity to collect the earned coins and EPs in the shop at the displayed sign after the time has elapsed.

Which teams are there and how can you change them again later?
There are currently the team colors yellow, blue and red to choose from. As soon as you reach level 5 and tap on an arena, you can join one of these teams. Team yellow stands for intuition, blue for wisdom and team red for daring. The decision to join a certain team is currently final, you can Do not change team afterwards.
The best thing to do is to talk to your friends, neighbors and acquaintances who also play Pokémon GO, which team they belong to, because this is the only way to defeat and conquer arenas together and thereby increase your player level.
It is currently not known whether there will be an opportunity to change teams later in the future. In the augmented reality game Ingress, which was developed by Niantic some time ago, it was possible to write to support using a contact form to change teams.
I chose the yellow team, but due to a mistake I can suddenly go to the red team. Annoying - unfortunately it is still not possible to change teams yourself. Here you have to wait for an answer from the developer Niantic. However, this usually takes a very long time, usually several weeks. Otherwise, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do but start all over again.
