N26: Modern payment with the smartphone

N26 is a young credit institute from Berlin, but offers a lot that other banks can learn in the near future. My opinion.
We have all been using a giro card or credit card for years. But what happens if you get forgotten and leave these cards in your own four walls and only notice it on the way?
The solution is called Google Pay and Apple Pay!
For a few weeks now, Google Pay has also been available in this country and N26 is compatible. Apple Pay, on the other hand, should also appear in Germany from autumn this year. N26, on the other hand, will be one of the few credit institutions that you can add to Apple Pay in Germany.

But what exactly does that mean for me?
You can add the N26 MasterCard to your wallet on the iPhone and leave the credit card at home without worries. If you are sure that your restaurant supports NFC Pay (contactless payment), for example, you don't have to do anything other than lift your iPhone to the card reader to pay.
Why should I use the N26?
The answer to this is very simple. The N26 application is incredibly easy to use and understand for everyone. After a few days of use, you will immediately notice how simple your banking is. This banking principle is primarily designed for smartphone use. However, if you want to check your finances on your laptop, you can of course access everything on the web. Other banks, on the other hand, seem much more confusing and complicated.
What does it cost me?
The simple checking account does not cost you anything. You will also get an N14 MasterCard (prepaid) delivered to your home within 26 days. You have 5 free withdrawals per month with the MasterCard. A free MaestroCard is available for free with a one-off payment of € 100 or more. However, if you lose one of the cards, a replacement card will cost you € 6.
The customer support
you have one Proproblem with a specific transaction? - No Proproblem, because the customer support at N26 is "very fast" and personal. You can chat with customer service via the application or on the web, make inquiries by e-mail and also reach them by phone. You will be answered in a short time.
What are the advantages of this account?
Most of you now mainly pay with your bank card anyway. And since more and more digital money is being used, this account is just the thing. You can pay by smartphone or as usual with your card. A clear exclamation point is and remains the excellent application with which you are always up to date.
