Snap! 6 - the gadget for Snapchat, Twitter & Co.?

Sights like the Colosseum in Rome, the Taj Mahal in India or the Great Wall of China are only seen once in a lifetime. This makes it all the more important to record this and later to be able to share the experiences with family and friends. As a photophile, I am very interested in the aspect of iPhoneography and have therefore looked around for an iPhone gadget that extends or completes the iPhone camera with some useful aspects. After some research, I found the Snap! 6 noticed that the iPhone 6 has been expanded to include a release button and, if necessary, a large number of photo lenses.

The first thing that struck me was the sleek and simple design of the 33 gram case, which feels good in the hand and therefore also allows for easy taking of pictures. Upon opening the package, I saw the Snap! 6, a fabric bracelet and an unlock code. The fabric strap is attached directly to the case and its main purpose is to facilitate photographing when there are many consecutive shots. Even if this is not absolutely necessary, it is possible to remove it. The activation code found is used to release special in-app functions for the case-adapted iPhone app Snap! Pro. In my opinion, this convinces with a simple design, combined with a large number of recording and processing variants.

The unique selling point of this case, however, is the silver release button, which uses a simple but innovative mechanism to enable quick recordings. After pressing the button, the left side of the gadget is attracted to the left side of the gadget by a small red-colored area of the case, which guarantees a quick recording.

Exclusively for the gadget, you can choose between a variety of photo lenses and a leather bracelet. You can simply put the photo lenses on the area above the iPhone camera. When it comes to lenses, you can choose between three variants: wide-angle, macro and fish-eye lenses. Unfortunately, the wide-angle lens could not convince me, as it was more similar to the fisheye lens and there was no noticeable improvement in the image quality. In contrast, the other two lenses were able to completely convince me, as the image quality increased significantly, especially when taking close-ups.

In this context, I would recommend the cases to all photophiles who like to take pictures and want to have a gadget at their side that makes them easier. With the lenses, however, I would only rely on the fisheye and macro lenses, as there is still room for improvement with the wide-angle lens. If you use the case including the app, you can definitely rely on a loyal companion for recordings.
