Vivo has now finally officially arrived in Europe and presented whole four smartphones for the start. We already have one of them here, namely the Vivo X51 5G. At 800 euros, it is currently the most expensive and at the same time most powerful Vivo smartphone for Europe.

I will soon clarify in my detailed test report whether this high EIA can be justified and whether Vivo has got off to a good start in Europe. Here in this article I first unpack the smartphone and get a first impression.

Vivo X51 5G unboxing

With a square design, the sales box of the Vivo X51 5G differs significantly from almost all other packaging. The box is big, but not that deep. Once you have removed the cover, the smartphone comes directly towards you, which is still in a film to protect against scratches. This includes the usual paper and a SIM needle for the dual SIM slot. The included headphones also come with four interchangeable earplugs and an adapter from USB-C to jack. In addition, a 33W power supply and the matching USB-C cable, with which the X51 5G can be charged very quickly, is included. Fortunately, a transparent silicone cover is also included and the smartphone comes with a protective film from the factory.

First impression of the Vivo X51 5G

I've been testing the Vivo X51 5G for two days and I've been really impressed so far, which is mainly due to the beautiful design and feel. The smartphone is very thin, light and easy to use due to its size. The back is made of matte glass and feels incredibly high quality. The gray color completes the beautiful design. She is very grateful for fingerprints and always looks a little different depending on the incidence of light. When it comes to design, Vivo definitely doesn't have to hide from the much more expensive competitors.

So far I have nothing to complain about with the rest of the smartphone. It's true that the strongest isn't working under the hood here Processor, which you should actually expect for 800 euros, but the performance is still very good and the smooth refresh rate of 90 Hertz makes animations look much smoother. The camera and battery life are also convincing after two days of use, but I still have to take a closer look at both. The battery life cannot be evaluated after two days of use. For 800 euros, however, I am missing a few features, such as IP-68 certification against the ingress of water and dust, wireless charging and stereo speakers.

I am now looking forward to the next few days with the Vivo X51 5G and a detailed review will follow here very soon TechnikNews.
