Apple releases iOS 26.3 Release Candidate for the iPhone

Apple today officially released the Release Candidate (RC) of iOS 26.3 to developers and public beta testers. This means the operating system is now on the verge of its final release to the general public. The update focuses on improved interoperability and minor visual tweaks to existing system features.
Focus on Android switching and wallpaper tweaks
Perhaps the most important new feature in iOS 26.3 is the implementation of a significantly simplified process for switching from Android to iPhone. Apple is responding to the need for smoother data transfer between competing platforms. Additionally, the release candidate includes targeted revisions to the wallpaper galleries in the "Astronomy" and "Weather" categories to further enhance the system's visual consistency.
Siri revolution with Gemini casts its shadow ahead
While iOS 26.3 primarily refines existing features, all eyes are already on the upcoming version, iOS 26.4. According to recent reports, this will be the first update to include the completely revamped Siri version. Apple and Google recently announced that they would use Gemini AI as the technical foundation for the next generation of Siri and Apple Intelligence – a milestone for the company's AI strategy.
The release candidate is considered stable; provided no further critical errors are found, the identical version will soon be rolled out to all users worldwide.
