Farming Simulator 25: New features revealed at gamescom 2024

At gamescom 2024, GIANTS Software presented new exciting features for Farming Simulator 25. Visitors to the trade fair in Cologne were able to play the latest part of the popular simulation series from August 21 to 25.
The game's new features offer a mix of cute animals and challenging weather conditions - we have briefly summarized them for you.
New animal species and offspring
Farming Simulator 25 expands animal husbandry with two new species: water buffalo and goats. These animals can be kept on the farm and used to produce new types of milk, which are then processed in cheese factories. A special highlight is the introduction of offspring, which increases the cuteness factor on the farms. Players can experience how the young animals grow into fully grown farm animals.
Challenging weather conditions
The game introduces realistic weather events that present new challenges to players. Dark clouds in the sky can indicate impending hailstorms or even light hurricanes. These weather conditions can damage fields and forests, meaning farmers must be careful. Unstored crop bales should be moved to safety to avoid losses. However, players have the option to disable the effects of these weather events in the options.
Release and pre-orders
Farming Simulator 25 will be released on November 12, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will be released. Pre-orders are now available from selected retailers. At the same time as the digital release, the game will also be available in boxed versions in retail stores. The physical versions include the MacDon Pack as a bonus. Particularly interesting for collectors is the exclusive Amazon Germany Day One Edition, which also includes the New Holland CR11 Gold Edition combine harvester. For PC players, there is also a Collector's Edition with numerous extras, but it is sold out on Amazon. Interested parties can contact MediaMarkt or Saturn look around.
