Honor Magic V6: Surprising appearance at the Winter Olympics

Just before its official launch, Honor's upcoming flagship foldable is causing a stir. The Honor Magic V6 was already spotted in the spotlight at the 2026 Winter Olympics, in the hands of freestyle skiing Olympic champion Xu Mengtao. Immediately after her gold medal win in the aerials discipline, Honor confirmed on Weibo that the athlete would be the official brand ambassador for the new foldable smartphone.
Sleek design and sporty robustness
The appearance at the Winter Games is part of a targeted marketing strategy to emphasize the device's durability. Initial hands-on impressions describe the Magic V6 as exceptionally thin and light, with which Honor is launching a direct attack on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The distinctive camera module on the back remains a central design element, while initial reports indicate that the casing is even thinner than its predecessor.

Launch at MWC 2026 and market launch
Rumors suggest the official world premiere of the Honor Magic V6 is planned for the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Technically, a high-end package is expected, aiming to set new standards in the foldable segment, particularly in battery life and charging speed, in addition to the latest processor power. The device is expected to be priced at the premium level of the market. Besides classic colors, variants with vegan leather are also anticipated.
