Nintendo: No presence at Gamescom 2024

Gamescom 2024 is fast approaching. It is already clear that Nintendo will not be part of it. A new switch is still a long time coming.
The first Nintendo Switch launched in 2017, followed by the Switch Lite in 2029 and the Switch OLED just over two years ago. A successor to the basic model is really due - according to rumors it will appear in early 2025. That's why there was already great hope of getting information about the console at the upcoming Gamescom.
But nothing will come of this, because the company announced that it will not be represented at the gaming fair in Cologne this year. In a statement to GamesEconomy:
Gamescom is a central event in Nintendo's event calendar. This year, however, after careful consideration, we decided against taking part in Cologne. Instead, players can play the games for Nintendo Switch as part of other Germany-wide eventsprobeer
So we'll have to wait a little longer for exact details about the next generation Switch. Gamescom 2024 will take place in Cologne from August 21st to 25th.
