Together with the S24 series Samsung also announced the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Further information about this was now available at MWC 2024.

Smart rings that keep an eye on your health are trendy. The only ProThe product in this category was the Oura Ring for a long time, but now it is no longer alone. Now Samsung also wants to get involved and announced at the last Unpacked event that they are also working on a smart ring. Now there were more details about the Mobile World Congress 2024.

We still don't have exact technical data, but we now know what the wearable should be able to do. The focus should be on sleep monitoring, among other things, including heart rate, movements and various breathing indicators. The Samsung Galaxy Ring should also have period tracking.

With the ring, Samsung is introducing a new metric in the Health app, the health score. This is calculated from heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep and daily activity. The company also wants to introduce this feature for its own smartwatches, although a smartphone from the new S24 series is required for use.

The ProTypes of the ring come in sizes between 5 and 13 (US sizes) and in three different colors.

Samsung Galaxy Ring: Pricing and Availability

What Samsung hasn't revealed yet is when the ring will be available and how much it will cost. This information is expected to be announced later this year.
