AirPower: Support for the gadget appears in iOS 12.2

It is still not really clear when AirPower exactly will hit the market. But the wait could soon be over.
Apple is currently distributing the beta version of iOS 12.2 to participants in the program. 9to5Mac was able to take a closer look at the update and found indications in the operating system's code of an imminent release of AirPower. More specifically, the software for the wireless charging component has now been written in such a way that it recognizes when two devices are on the same wireless charger.

Release this week?
If these pieces of code are really good for flawless support for AirPower, like 9to5Mac It is suspected that the charging mat could go on sale this week, as iOS 12.2 is already in the final phase. Apple has also already brought a number of new things to the store this week, including two new iPads. And more are suspected, including a new iPod touch. So it could well be that the Cupertino company is using this week to bring new products into circulation.
