Amazon Dash Button now also available in Germany and Austria

The Amazon Dash Button is designed to make it even easier for Prime members to reorder various products on Amazon. The Dash Button has not yet been available from us, but this will change from now on. One click on the Dash Button is all it takes to reorder the product you have specified on Amazon.

Every Amazon user is probably familiar with the principle of online "1-click ordering". This function will now also be available physically - using a special button. It is called the "Dash Button" and is a small device that is connected to the home network via WiFi. Among other things, you can choose between the product categories toilet paper, cat food, soap and detergent.

Reorder with just one click

If the above-mentioned products are running low and you want to reorder them, all you have to do is click on the button. If the status light turns green, the order has been successfully placed. The user receives a notification on their smartphone when the button has been pressed. On this page* You can choose between many different brands with which the button is compatible. Don't worry: if you or the children accidentally press the button several times in a row, only one order will be placed. You can only order again when the previously placed order has arrived at home.

Currently, the appropriate button is required for each brand. There is currently no universal Dash button with which it is possible to order all products. The app can be used to select the required product from the corresponding brand. The app is available for iOS and Android and also allows the user to view the current status of the button. You can also adjust in the app how many orders you want to place with one click. The little helper currently costs 4,99 euros - after the first order, you get the cost refunded.

We now also have that to match the Amazon Dash Button Amazon Dash Replenishment Service* (DRS). This service is intended to enable compatible, network-capable devices to reorder products independently. In the near future, a printer could automatically order printer cartridges when they are running low. Or a washing machine could order detergent automatically.
