Android 10: New version should come next week
A few days ago, Google announced that Android Q final will be called Android 10. And now a rollout date has been leaked.
Two independent support staff from Google babbled out the start date for the rollout of Android 10, reports PhoneArena. In support chats they confirmed that the first Android smartphones will receive the new version on September 03rd. And that's already in a week.
Android 10: All Pixel smartphones receive the update
Presumably get that first Google Pixel 3a (XL) and Google Pixel 3 (XL) the update followed by Google Pixel 2 (XL) and Google Pixel (XL). I think it's very praiseworthy that even the first Pixel should get the update, although this smartphone is no longer part of Google's update promise. The latest security patch for September will most likely come with the new version.
The smartphones from other manufacturers will only receive the new Android version in the course of the next few months. Nokia, for example, wants to start distributing it towards the end of the year, for example.
