Android Q: Google wants to revise the gesture control
Google will use Android Q for the I / O 2019 present. An unofficial build reveals that the search engine giant will revise the gesture controls.
For the first time, Google uses gesture navigation in Android Pie. Especially the ones in Stock Android Pie did not convince me completely, as I did in mine Review of the Google Pixel 3 XL reported. Now, almost a year after the new gestures were released, an unofficial build reveals that Google will be revising the gesture navigation in Android Q a little.
The back button will disappear
It can already be seen in Android Pie that the back button will not be around for long, as it is no longer always visible. And in fact, Google could delete this completely - at least it no longer appears in Q. Instead, you now have to swipe left once on the pill to go back one step. A swipe to the right calls up the last used app. Here you can see that the transition animation looks similar to the newer iPhone. my ProThe problem with calling up the app drawer still exists.
