Synology: New Plus models require verified hard drives

Synology announced that future NAS models the Plus series only supports the manufacturer's own and tested hard drives. The details.

All Plus series NAS systems introduced this year can only be used without restrictions when operated with compatible hard drives. For the time being, these will be the drives sold by the manufacturer itself. However, Synology also allows third-party vendors to verify their products through a verification process.proprogram.
