The device, which is being developed internally under the code name "Corfu5G", is to appear under the name "Motorola g71". This shows a document which TechnikNews exclusively thanks to a source who is familiar with the company's plans but wishes to remain anonymous.
The company plans to use the new Snapdragon 695 5G (SD6375) as the processor, with 4, 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM (depending on the region), and 64 or 128 gigabytes of internal memory. According to the source, the display is 6,43 inches and has a Full HD+ resolution. The display also supports OLED technology. The camera setup consists of a 50 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 megapixel macro lens. The front camera, which sits in a punch hole, has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The battery is 5000 mAh and is charged with a maximum of 30 watts via USB-C cable. The device is IP52 certified and has a 3,5 mm jack connector. There is a dedicated “Google Assistant button” on the side of the device. The device does not have a stereo speaker, just a mono speaker. Android 11 is expected to be used as the operating system, and the device will receive OS updates for two years.
