Apple Card shows up in the wild

At a Event in March Apple showed the Apple Card, which will come in the summer. Now the map is in the wild.

Ben Geskin posted several pictures on Twitter of a physical Apple Card that he received from an employee as part of an internal beta phase. These show the card from several sides and in the colorful sleeve in which it reaches consumers.

The note about activating the Apple Card is striking. As 9to5Mac reported a few weeks ago, Apple hid an NFC chip in the case. If you hold the unlocked iPhone there, a small window appears with a button that completes the activation. The whole looks like the couplingprocess of the AirPods. Otherwise you only see what you already knew. Your own name on the front, two logos on the back.

It has not been confirmed whether the NFC chip will also set up the digital version of the Apple Card, but it is very likely.
