Apple brought us the new iPad today Pro 2020 and MacBook Air 2020 shown. Unlike usual, there was no event, but the devices were released rather unexpectedly. The new devices can do that.
Both devices, the iPad Pro and the MacBook Air, have been brought up to date. As usual with Apple, such an "update" doesn't really change much. This is the case with the iPad Pro In 2020, for example, only a new camera lens on the back. In addition, the MacBook Air 2020 has been polished with a new keyboard. As usual, all new devices come with a one-year warranty Apple TV + free addition.

Let's start with the iPad first Pro 2020. This one comes as the biggest change with a new camera - looks like the iPhone 11's camera just slipped in here. This resembles the leaksthat we saw back in December 2019. There is now a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The former with 12 megapixels, the ultra-wide-angle lens has a resolution of 10 megapixels. On top of that there is also a LiDAR sensor, which should be able to capture depths in an image. The only disadvantage is definitely the camera hump, so the iPad now wobbles when operated at the table - oh dear.
Inside is the Apple A12Z Bionic Chip, the microphones should record in studio quality and the operating system will be iPadOS 13.4. This now supports the support for trackpads with immediate effect, which means that a case with a trackpad can now be bought. This costs a proud 399 euros. The display is still set to 120 Hz in sizes 11 or 12,9 inches. You can choose from 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB internal storage. Unfortunately, the colors weren't really creative: there is only space gray and silver to choose from. Of course there is also a model with an LTE module, 5G is not supported.

In terms of price, the iPad starts Pro 2020 in the cheapest version at 879 euros in 11 inches with 128 GB memory and WLAN, up to the 12,9 inch version with 1 TB memory and LTE at 1649 euros. Orders are now on the Apple website possible. The new iPad should be available in the Apple stores from next week - should they be open at all.

It's getting bigger: we're switching to the MacBook Air 2020. This gets an upgrade, but only on the inside. This should be twice as fast as its predecessor (CPU) and 80 Procent faster graphics performance. In addition, twice the storage space is now possible – up to 2 TB of SSD storage can now be configured. Like the 2019 model, the current MacBook Air 2020 is 13 inches and has Touch ID for logging in.
What is new, however, is the new Magic Keyboard (the same as in the MacBook Pro), which is less susceptible to dirt and Probleme than the butterfly keyboard should be. In addition, the model with 128 GB of storage space is now eliminated and you can now select up to an Intel Core i7 in the tenth generation. In addition, the quality of the stereo speakers is said to have been improved, 6K monitors are now also supported on the Air and the microphones are clearer.
The MacBook Air 2020 is now on the Apple website can be ordered and from next week also in the stores (if open). In terms of price, we start at 1199 euros, up to 2579 euros with i7Proprocessor, 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage.
