B&O: About these Products were talked about at the press conference
,,Our Proproducts should be flexible in use.” – this sentence was heard a few times today when the company talked about their new devicesprohas. A summary of the press conference.
B&O E6
It all started with the B&O E6. This model is wireless in-ear headphones that are well suited for workouts and everyday wear thanks to their minimalist design. For the most part, rubber was chosen for the material - protection against water and dust was even guaranteed. When it comes to colors, you can choose between two shades of black and beige. B&O built a magnet in the ear buds that holds the headphones together when you don't need them. Then the B&O E6 will even be switched off automatically. Practically.
They were proud of the rich sound signature technology, which is supposed to provide a lot of bass. If you don't want that, you can use the manufacturer's app to change the equalizer as you wish. In terms of battery life, B&O guarantees a usage time of up to 5 hours. If the battery is empty, you can still enjoy your music while charging.
The B&O E6 are available now at an RRP of € 299.
B&O Beosound 1 and B&O Beosound 2
The Beosound 1 and Beosound 2 are WLAN speakers that are intended for use in your own four walls. That is why standards such as Airplay 2 and Chromecast are also supported to enable multi-room operation. You can play your music using these two methods or using your voice with the Google Assistant. In order to be able to use the Assistant properly, the microphones can filter out the sound of the loudspeakers, which the Assistant should understand better. Alexa should be delivered with an update.
Both speakers will be available from mid-September - the Beosound 1 will cost 1500 euros and the Beosound 2 2000 euros.
B&O Beosound Edge
The Beosound Edge is a minimalist speaker that is also intended for use in the home. It was designed by Michael Anastassiades, who mostly finds inspiration in geometric shapes. This is also reflected in the design of the speaker. Depending on your taste, you can position the speaker on the floor or on the wall - thanks to the flexible shape.
The Beosound Edge can be connected via WiFipro, which also makes multi-room operation possible here – Chromecast, Airplay 2 and B&O’s own solution are available here. Customers who particularly like bass can activate the Active Bass Port, which gives the sound noticeably more bass.
The Beosound Edge will be available from mid-November. In terms of price, it is at an MSRP of 3250 euros.
