Galaxy Home: Samsung could soon introduce a cheaper version

At the launch of the Galaxy Note 9, Samsung also showed its first own smart speaker called the Galaxy Home. Now there are rumors that Samsung is working on a cheaper version of this speaker.

Even if Samsung has not yet announced any official prices for the Galaxy Home, it is assumed that it will not be cheap due to the premium features. The speaker will probably be priced in the HomePod territory. SamMobile is now said to have obtained information on another Galaxy Home, which is said to be a little cheaper than the model that was presented in August. This has the model number SM-V310 (the current Galaxy Home has the number SM-V510). Bixby version 2.0 is probably installed on this speaker as a voice assistant.

When will we see this speaker?

Samsung will probably introduce the SM-V310 along with the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus and the smartwatch that we reported on last week. As already mentioned above, no prices are known for this leaked loudspeaker. Presumably, this cheap Galaxy Home is supposed to be a direct competitor for the Google Home and the Amazon Echo. These two speakers cost around 100 euros. So I expect the upcoming Galaxy Home to be about as expensive.
