Due to several incidents in which even batteries exploded, the group calls the Note 7 back. The phablet should actually come onto the European market today - that will probably not work yet.

To date, Samsung is already aware of 35 critical incidents with the Note 7. In these cases, batteries are said to have caught fire while charging and exploded as a result. Not all devices are affected, but delivery is now stopped for an indefinite period of time.

Samsung is now calling the devices back

Like Samsung here and confirmed on Twitter, the damaged devices will be replaced with new ones free of charge. “The replacement devices should be ready in the coming weeks. The exchange should happen as soon as possible. ", So in the article of the Samsung Newsroom. The affected batteries are currently being examined and, to be on the safe side, should not be charged until they are replaced. So far, around 400 devices have been shipped, including around 000-300 devices, according to Samsung. This case became known through a South Korean woman who reported to Business Korea: “My friend's Note 400 exploded during the night while charging. I woke up to the smell of smoke and the loud bang ”.

Release should start today in Europe

The release should actually start on the European market today and some dealers have already been supplied with the devices. This could make replacing the affected Note 7 devices a little more difficult. It becomes even more difficult with the devices that have already been delivered to the buyers. That is why you should let friends know if they have a grade of 7. But the reports currently only seem to relate to South Korea, so other countries should not be affected. However, caution is still required until the replacement.

Except for an unknown time, the release has now been stopped. There is no official confirmation from Samsung as to when the smartphone will be delivered again. On the Austrian Samsung website is advertised as "available from 9 September", but we do not expect it.

Haha, that's really embarrassing. You should see that before extradition? A little too hasty, Samsung? 😉
