Galaxy Tab S4: Update to Android Pie is widely distributed

A few weeks ago, Samsung supplied the Galaxy Tab S4 in France with Android Pie. A comprehensive rollout is now starting.

Samsung is currently distributing the update to Android Pie for the Galaxy Tab S4 in countries such as Germany, Switzerland and Italy in several stages. This means that it can take a while for the update to arrive on your own device. Just check the update section in the settings regularly, then you can't overlook Pie. With the latest version of Android comes Samsung's latest user interface called One UI. This in turn comes with some of its own features, such as dark mode, Bixby and its own gesture control. As mentioned at the beginning, Samsung is gradually distributing Android Pie. So it may not be immediately visible.

Since yesterday I have Android 9 on my Galaxy Tab S4 LTE. Now the landscape mode no longer works when I anchor the tablet to the keyboard. The same applies if the screen changes to portrait format (e.g. with Facebook videos) and then does not return to landscape mode. I then first have to pull the bar down and switch the screen mode. It's very annoying. Hope to find a remedy for this bug soon.
