Google Fit on the web: service will be switched off in mid-March
In addition to the Google Fit app for Android, there is also a web version of the popular fitness tool from Google. However, this is now switched off due to the main focus on the mobile app.
Last year with the Redesign the web version also got a new design. In general, the web version has always been updated in parallel. Now, however, one would like to focus more on the mobile app and turns off the website. The focus is on the mobile apps:
Alternative: Google Fit on your smartphone
In the browser version of Fit you can also view all recorded data - just like on a smartphone. Due to the shutdown, health data will no longer be available in the browser from March 19, 2019. This means that your own fitness data can only be viewed via the smartphone. The app continues to receive regular updates and is of course still supported. An app for iOS is still pending.
