Huawei MateBook X Pro 2019, MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 introduced

Huawei has seized the opportunity and presented three new laptops at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona. The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2019 is a revised version of the MateBook X Pro from 2018, the new MateBook 13 and MateBook 14.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro sold surprisingly well last year, according to the Huawei CEO in Barcelona. For this reason, it has now been upgraded and equipped with new hardware. A 13- and 14-inch MateBook has also been introduced.
MateBook X Pro 2019: Better graphics card, better processor
The new MateBook X Pro 2019 now uses the new MX150 graphics card from Nvidia instead of the MX250. The processor has also been updated: the latest i7-8565U processor from Intel is now used. This is said to be 40 percent faster than the i5-8250U processor from last year. Otherwise, the Thunderbolt 3 port has now been updated to the fastest speed currently available and the Wi-Fi speed has been doubled.

MateBook 13 and MateBook 14
The MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 are no different - apart from the display size. The displays in 3:2 format with 13 and 14 inches each have a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood is the current i7-8565U chip, together with the MX250 graphics card from Nvidia. The only compromises compared to the MateBook X Pro are in the ports. Instead of Thunderbolt, there is only 1x USB-C, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, a jack connection, and an HDMI connection.

In addition to the three new laptops, the new “Huawei Share OneHop” was also shown. This feature makes it possible to use the NFC chip on the notebook next to the touchpad to transfer content from your MateBook directly to your Huawei smartphone. For example, if you have opened a picture in the gallery on your smartphone, you only need to hold your smartphone on the NFC chip - the image is mirrored on the MateBook and can be saved and edited there. The other way around is of course also possible - if you shake the smartphone and then place it next to the touchpad, the screen of the MateBook is recorded for 60 seconds and displayed live on the smartphone.
The clipboard will also be synchronized via Huawei Share in the future. If you copy a text on the smartphone, it also ends up in the clipboard on the MateBook. The reverse is of course also possible.
Prices and availability
The MateBook X Pro and the MateBook 13/14 come in several versions. The MateBook X Pro 2019 model with i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD will cost 1599 euros. If you want an 7th generation i8 processor and need 16 GB RAM + 1 TB SSD, the MateBook X Pro 2019 costs a whopping 1999 euros.

The MateBook 13 has a total of four models, with the cheapest starting at 999 euros. The MateBook 14 comes in only two versions. All models should come to us in Germany and Austria and be delivered shortly.

Why isn't the matebook currently (14/12) available anywhere in Germany?
It is as if the device never existed?
Very strange
It has to do with the trade dispute between China and the USA - Huawei is currently still having difficulties getting processor chips and Windows licenses for the notebooks and is probably not selling them for this reason. If in doubt, just ask Huawei directly.
