Huawei took the chance and presented three new laptops at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona. So there is with the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2019 a revised version of the MateBook X Pro from 2018, the new MateBook 13 and MateBook 14.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro sold surprisingly well last year, according to the Huawei CEO in Barcelona. For this reason, this has now been increased and equipped with new hardware. A 13- and 14-inch MateBook was also presented.

MateBook X Pro 2019: Better graphics card, better Proprocessor

In the new MateBook X Pro In 2019, instead of the MX150, the new MX250 graphics card from Nvidia is installed. Also the Prozessor has been brought up to date: So you now rely on the latest i7-8565U Proprocessor from Intel. This one is supposed to be 40 Procent faster than the i5-8250U Proprocessor from last year. Otherwise, the Thunderbolt 3 connection has now been brought to the currently fastest speed and the WLAN speed has been doubled.

MateBook 13 and MateBook 14

The MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 are not different - except for the display size. The displays in 3:2 format with 13 or 14 inches each have a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. The current i7-8565U chip is also under the hood here, together with the MX250 graphics card from Nvidia. There are compromises compared to the MateBook X Pro only at the connections. Instead of Thunderbolt, there is only 1x USB-C, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0, a jack connection and an HDMI connection.

“Huawei Share OneHop” for all new MateBooks

In addition to the three new laptops, the new “Huawei Share OneHop” was also shown. This feature makes it possible to use the NFC chip on the notebook next to the touchpad to transfer content from your MateBook directly to your Huawei smartphone. For example, if you have opened a picture in the gallery on your smartphone, you only need to hold your smartphone on the NFC chip - the image is mirrored on the MateBook and can be saved and edited there. The other way around is of course also possible - if you shake the smartphone and then place it next to the touchpad, the screen of the MateBook is recorded for 60 seconds and displayed live on the smartphone.

The clipboard will also be synchronized via Huawei Share in the future. If you copy a text on the smartphone, it also ends up in the clipboard on the MateBook. The reverse is of course also possible.
