Next to the Huawei Mate Xs The company also introduced a new tablet – the Huawei MatePad Pro. This looks very similar to Apple’s iPad Pro.
The Huawei Mate Xs and the Huawei MatePad Pro are both quite similar in terms of features. But the only difference is the features - this is a standard tablet, not a foldable device. The MatePad Pro has the Kirin 990 processor, which is supported by 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. The display is 10,8 inches and has a QHD resolution. There is also a punch hole in the display, which makes the tablet almost completely borderless.
Huawei MatePad Pro: With Android, but without Google apps
The MatePad Pro comes in two versions. There is a WiFi, LTE and a 5G version. The WiFi version is the cheapest option and comes with 128 GB of internal storage as standard. With the LTE and 5G versions, you can choose between 128 GB, 256 GB and even 512 GB for the 5G model. There is also a 13 megapixel camera on the back, and the 7250 mAh battery powers the package. The latter can also be charged wirelessly using QI charging.
On top of that there are four Harman Kordon loudspeakers, which should enable a rich stereo sound. The operating system used is EMUI 10 with Android 10. As with all newer Huawei devices, there will be no Google apps. A Huawei M-Pencil is also available as an accessory, which is charged wirelessly on the edge of the tablet. To do this, it simply has to be attached to the side - it is held in place by a magnet proflawless.
Huawei MatePad Pro: Prices and availability
The price of the MatePad Pro starts at 549 euros in the cheapest configuration. The most expensive configuration costs 949 euros. The prices for any accessories start at 39 euros (folio cover, MatePad sleeve), M-Pencil for 99 euros and the keyboard for 129 euros. The market launch is scheduled for April.
