iPad Pro: Problems with the touchscreen

Apple's products are once again not working as they should. This time, the touchscreens of some iPad Pros are affected.
Many users of an iPad Pro from 2018 or 2017 report in various Apple forums that they have problems with the tablet's touchscreen. In the early stages, the 120-hertz display only occasionally fails to respond, but later the problem occurs during regular use. There are buyers who notice this malfunction immediately after unpacking and others who only notice it later. This is due, among other things, to mobiFlip noticed.
No statement from Apple yet
mobiFlip reports that it took a while for the iPad Pro to become virtually unusable because the crashes occurred so often. This problem often occurs when scrolling. It is ruled out that the whole thing has anything to do with iOS because resetting the device did not help. It is more likely that the fragile construction of the iPad is to blame. There is no official statement from Apple on the matter yet.
