Since several months you can play Mario Kart Tour on Android and iOS. So far, however, without multiplayer mode, which Nintendo is now retrofitting.

Nintendo announced on Twitter that Mario Kart Tour will be getting a multiplayer mode on March 8th. The game has been available since September 2019 and since then many players have been waiting for the opportunity to play with other people. Seven players can race against each other in each race. You can either race against your in-app friends, against people who are nearby or against players around the world.
