AirPods: New generation listed in the Apple Store

Apple already posted this week new iPads and updated Macs before, now the AirPods follow. This is what the second generation of in-ears has to offer.

The new AirPods don't have a different design, although everyone suspected that in advance. So they look the same as Apple's first wireless in-ears, so they would theoretically fit in the first-gen storage case. But there was even more happening inside. In the new headphones, the H1Proprocessor installed, which accelerates switching between devices and should drastically increase the talk time. It is also possible to call up Apple's language assistant with "Hey Siri!"

Wireless charging case is available separately

However, Apple also offers a model without a case for wireless charging. This is cheaper and has the same features as the version with the case for wireless charging. This means that there is also the H1 chip here, among other things. Apple also thought of users of the first AirPods and released the wireless charging box without AirPods in the Apple Store.

But what does all the fun cost? Apple charges 179 euros for the AirPods without a wireless charging case. So they are a little more expensive than the first AirPods. The version with the new case costs a full 229 euros. The case for wireless charging without AirPods is available for 89 euros.
