I've been using the OnePlus 3 for some time now. It's great that OnePlus listens to its community and released an update a few weeks after the OP3 was released that fixes some bugs. Keep it up, OnePlus!

It has been for a few weeks OnePlus 3 already available. Now OnePlus has in the forum listened to his community and released a software update for the new flagship, which brings some improvements and bug fixes. Among other things, the RAM management for the available 6GB has been improved. But on Wednesday the update was withdrawn.

Update from 08.07.16:

It has now been announced in the forum that users who do not yet have version 3.2 on their devices will skip directly to version 3.2.1. The rollout will follow in the next few days. All improvements of version 3.2.0 are included - in addition, notification errors and the bug where strangers could read the IMEI of the smartphone in a public WiFi network have been fixed.

Update from 06.07.16:

Since there were probably some errors when installing version 3.2 of OxygenOS, the update has now been withdrawn by OnePlus. You can report bugs from the community in this thread of the OnePlus Forum. All those who do not have the update yet will probably have to wait some time until the update is available again. But those who have already installed the update on their devices will not change anything. It is currently not known when the rollout will continue, it just says "We will continue the rollout as soon as possible," said Sam L, a OnePlus staff.

Original article from July 05.07.16th, XNUMX:

Like every smartphone, the OnePlus 3 still had some teething problems after its release. Among other things, it became known that the OnePlus 2 successor was not using its 6GB RAM and that if there were too many apps in the background, the first one would be reloaded. There was also a bug with some notifications. There were bug fixes for the pre-installed clock, music and gallery apps.

What's new in OxygenOS 3.2?

  • sRGB mode added in developer settings
  • RAM management improved
  • improved image quality of the camera
  • better quality audio playback
  • Improved GPS performance
  • latest google security patches
  • Bug fixes in the gallery, clock and music app
  • Icon packs updated
  • Bug fixes for some notifications

The update has been available since yesterday, but according to the developers it may take 48 hours until the 396 MB update is available for all OnePlus 3 devices. The update can be found in the settings under System updates. The so-called “OnePlus 3 Pocket Problem" has still not been fixed with this update, because if you carry the smartphone in your trouser pocket with the display facing your leg, the smartphone gets warm very quickly and loses battery very quickly. The reason for this is that the fingerprint sensor is constantly scanning because it recognizes the wearer's skin. Until then, you can only carry the smartphone with the display on the outside or you can use a flip cover.

What do you think of the update? What do you think of the trouser pocket bug? Let us know in the comments.

I find that a bit embarrassing, you can't bring out an update and then withdraw it again because it's bugged! Don't they test the software before they release it?
