The rumors about the upcoming flagship killer OnePlus 6 prodelve Now Carl Pei has officially confirmed the notch in the new OnePlus smartphone. The OnePlus 6 will therefore officially have a notch.
Carl Pei refers to an article by TheVerge, which is supposed to officially confirm the notch in the OnePlus 6. Nevertheless, one prefers to wait for official information from such announcements from some blogs. But the news and also the Rumors about the OnePlus 6 in the last few weeks it seems to have become a reality. There will definitely be a notch on the OnePlus 6.
"Learn to love the notch"
OnePlus CEO Carl Pei also commented on the words "Learn to love the notch". As with the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, there will be a setting to "hide" the notch. The top bar of the smartphone will then be completely black. With this setting, the software will display black bars to the left and right of the notch. Leak should indicate headphone connection
The reason for the implemented notch is the space created by this "feature". After all, the OnePlus software should be able to automatically show a continuous black bar on top of the display for videos and content in full screen mode. In addition, a current leak from Evan Blass indicates a possible headphone connection on the underside of the smartphone.
