OnePlus 8 (Pro): Update for OxygenOS 11 on the way

Even before we see the OnePlus 8T, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will receive the update for OxygenOS 11. You can find out what this entails here.
The new OxygenOS 11 is based on Android 11 and, as already described, is initially only available for the 8 and 8 Pro. Other smartphones from the manufacturer will receive the update in the future.
OnePlus 8 (Pro): What’s new in OxygenOS 11
The first thing that should catch your eye is the redesign of some elements of the user interface. The whole thing is now based a little on Samsung's One UI. There are now three new modes for notifications in Game Space. Text only, heads up and blocking. And the added quick reply function can be used for WhatsApp and Instagram messages.
A new always-on display now shows all important information when the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are not in use. Various styles are available to choose from in the settings. And the dark mode can now be controlled in the quick settings and also activated for certain times of the day.
