OPPO x MWC22: New products and technologies in Barcelona

OPPO is back at the MWC, the Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona. It has now been confirmed in advance that they will be presenting new technologies and a finished product. We'll explain what we can expect here.
The MWC22 will take place on site again this year. The trade fair will run in Barcelona from February 28 to March 3. OPPO will hold a keynote speech on February 28 under the motto "Shape the Future". There, a new product for network connectivity and new mobile technologies and various successes of the company in the areas of AR and 5G will be presented.
Several flagship products are also expected to be shown, which sounds exciting. OPPO also announced a few milestones today.
OPPO now ranked 4th in the world market
In 2021, OPPO continued its growth in the global market. Among other things, it was able to grow by around 22 percent compared to the previous year. Rapid growth was also seen in markets such as Western Europe and Latin America, when OPPO launched the first 2019G-capable smartphone, the Reno 5G, in Europe in 5. They also launched the first smartphone with support for 5G standalone last year.
OPPO is increasingly about sustainability
After milestones in research and development, OPPO has been focusing more on sustainability for some time now. That is why in 2021 the company reduced 95 percent of plastic consumption for packaging of OPPO smartphones in the European market and will also talk about the company's sustainability strategy at the MWC.
New product range and innovative technologies on the way
OPPO now (rightly) describes itself as a "5G pioneer", so it will be showing a new product for network connectivity as well as new flagship products at MWC22. And finally, several industry-leading mobile technologies will also be on stage.
Visitors to Barcelona can look forward to a diverse and interactive experience in five large exhibition areas at the OPPO booth. These included presentations on the brand, the new flagship, smartphone technology and the 5G and AR ecosystem that OPPO wants to build up in the future.
