Radio streaming service TuneIn down: Stations don't play - "Something went wrong"
The radio streaming service TuneIn is currently down. It is currently not possible to play radio stations via Alexa or other devices. The problem with TuneIn is probably worldwide.
Update: since shortly after 13 p.m. everything has been running as usual.
Just like TuneIn itself reported on the status page, you cannot listen to any radio stations at the moment. Alexa and other smart assistants only report "Something went wrong" and do not play the station - precisely because TuneIn is down. Some internet radios, such as those from Sonos or Teufel Raumfeld, also use the service. The radio is currently also muted here. If you don't want to miss out on music, you can connect your speaker to your smartphone via Bluetooth and use apps such as radio.de there. Otherwise, of course, you can also use the classic FM or DAB + radio.
Also, not a single radio station is currently running on my speakers. If you use an Alexa speaker, you can use the Activate skill "radio.de" as an alternative. This is then started with: "Alexa, start radio" and then radio stations can be searched for. With Sonos, radio.de can also be selected as an alternative under “Add music service” in the settings. At Teufel Raumfeld there are no alternatives other than Bluetooth.
MusicCast from Yamaha is not affected - here you rely on a different service.
