Redmi 10 presented: 50 megapixel main camera and 90 Hertz display

Today was the big Xiaomi launch, where, in addition to the new 11T series, the Redmi 10 was also presented. This is an inexpensive entry-level smartphone that is said to impress with its 50 megapixel main camera.
You can read what the rest of the features of the smartphone look like in the following lines.
Redmi 10: Technical Specifications
With dimensions of 161,95 mm in height and 75,53 mm in width, the Redmi 10 is one of the larger smartphones on the market even by today's standards. In addition, it is also quite thick at just under 9 mm, whereas the weight is only 181 grams. You have with the colors carbon gray, Pebble white and Sea blue three colors to choose from. The display measures 6,5 inches, has a sufficiently sharp resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and supports a smooth refresh rate of 90 Hertz, which is anything but self-evident in this price range. Unfortunately it is "only" an IPS panel and not a high-quality OLED display.
The in-house user interface MIUI, based on Android 11, is used as software. The Helio G 88 from MediaTek, which is manufactured using the 12 nanometer process, works under the hood. You can choose between 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to up to 512 GB via a microSD card. The battery has a proud capacity of 5.000 mAh, which is sure to ensure great runtimes. It can be charged with a maximum of 22,5 watts using the 18 watt power supply provided. You can also use the Redmi 10 to charge other devices with up to 9 watts. So it works like a power bank. Xiaomi also has a 3,5 mm jack connector, stereo speakers and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
The highlight of the new entry-level smartphone should be the quad camera on the back, because Xiaomi has installed a new, large main sensor with 50 megapixels. There is also an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, with which significantly more can be captured, and two additional sensors, each with 2 megapixels, which are responsible for macro shots and depth effects.
Prices and availability
For the small version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, 179,90 euros and for double memory and 2 GB more RAM 199,90 euros have to be put on the table. The Redmi will be available from October 1st.
