Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus officially presented

The Note from Samsung goes in the next round. This time there is not only a Samsung Galaxy Note 10, but also a Note 10 Plus. But what can they do?
The fact that there are two different models suggests that they are typically of different sizes for Samsung. And it really is. The display of the regular Note 10 is "only" 6,3 inches, while that of the Note 10 Plus measures 6,8 inches diagonally. The resolutions are also different: 2.280 x 1.080 pixels for the regular model and 3.040 x 1.440 pixels for the Plus version. What both smartphones share is the in-display fingerprint sensor, the placement of the front camera - in the top center as a recess in the display - and their specifications. 10 megapixels at f / 2.2 with autofocus and HDR10 +.

Both models are made entirely of glass (with a metal frame) and are available in several colors. These are called Aura Black, Aura Glow and Aura Pink for the Note 10 and Aura Black, Aura Glow (silver) and Aura White for the Note 10 Plus. I don't understand why Samsung placed the power button and volume control on the left.
With S-Pen and high-end specifications
As we know from the Note series, there is also the obligatory S-Pen this year, which still sits in its own slot in the case. This has 4.096 different pressure levels and for the first time a "gesture control" to offer. These transform the pen into a little magic wand, so to speak - by waving around in front of the smartphone you can perform certain actions, such as taking a photo. According to the first hands-on candidates, it shouldn't work so well yet.
Also common for the Note series: high-end interior fittings. This includes the Exynos 9825 and Bluetooth 5 with 256 gigabytes of memory, eight gigabytes of RAM and 3.500 mAh in the Note 10 and 256 gigabytes of memory, 12 gigabytes of RAM and 4.300 mAh in the large Note 10. The software is One UI with Android Pie, the the familiar Samsung user interface with the DeX desktop UI. What that is, our editor Kevin explained in a separate article.
With the cameras, you get the same package in both cases. Three lenses, including a main lens (12 megapixels with variable aperture), an ultra-wide lens (16 megapixels, f / 2.2) and a telephoto lens (12 megapixels, f / 2.1)
Samsung Galaxy Note 10: prices and availability
Both devices, the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, will be available from August 23, 2019. The smaller Note 10 starts at an MSRP of 949 euros, while the starting price of the Plus version is 1.099 euros. The pre-orders at Samsung in the store start today. I haven't been able to discover smartphones at Amazon yet.
